Complaint
Description: On or about December 18, 2021 at approximately 9 pm to 11 pm, Plaintiff was near the intersection of Houston St and 1st Avenue in New York, NY, when he was driving a vehicle and was pulled over by Defendants, Police officers of the 9th precinct for displaying paper plates on his vehicle. Defendants told Plaintiff that the plates were expired and then removed Plaintiff's keys from the ignition. Defendants pulled Plaintiff out of the car with excessive force and proceeded to assault, batter and slam against the car in order to arrest him and caused Plaintiff bruising on his body. Plaintiff was then falsely arrested by NYPD officers of the 9th Precinct. Charges against Plaintiff were dismissed on April 7, 2022.
