Complaint
Description: On January 2, 2024, at approximately 12:30 AM, plaintiff was present in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue and 94th Street, in the borough of Queens. Police officer Joshua Pearaylall and two unidentified police officers (Doe and Roe) then, without reason stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained plaintiff in an aggressive and excessive manner. Plaintiff was prosecuted for having committed a crime and remained incarcerated for over 24 hours. Later, all charges against plaintiff were dropped and the case was terminated in plaintiff's favor. The plaintiff sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.
