Description: On October 23, 2023 Plaintiff was lawfully present at a location when he was assaulted and battered by PO Crystal L. Diaz and other officers. Specifically, Plaintiff was punched in the face and forcefully placed in handcuffs. Plaintiff was treated on the scene by EMS then forcefully thrown in a police vehicle and taken to the 9th Precinct. Later that day he was transported to Central Booking then the hospital for further treatment of his injuries.
