Complaint
Description: On or about August 12, 2022, plaintiff came up to plaintiff and his friend and asked for their ID. Plaintiff begann filming the scene with his phone, after which he was arrested by plaintiffs. The defendants handcuffed and seized him in an unlawful and excessive manner, causing him physical pain and mental suffering. He was taken to the precinct and held for over 4 hours. Thereafter, he was transferred to Central Bookings, where he was detained for ca. one day and arraigned. The defendants criminally charged plaintiff with violations of the criminal laws of New York State.

Description: On October 20, 2017, P.O.'s Jamie Brantmeyer, Emilio Rodrigues, Guydee Surpris, Kevin Lo, and Michael Lebloch approached plaintiff's vehicle and ordered him to exit. After searching plaintiff's vehicle and finding prescription medications, the officers handcuffed plaintiff, causing him extreme pain due to a recent surgery. Plaintiff requested medical treatment, but was denied assistance and transported to the 1st Precinct. The officers later conveyed fabricated allegations about plaintiff to prosecutors.
