Description: On October 6, 2022, plaintiff was arrested on the northeast corner of Hegeman Street and Osborne Street in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. Defendant NYPD officers Blot and Turner initially informed plaintiff he was involved in an assault. Defendant Blot claimed plaintiff had been driving recklessly and harassing the another individual. After being taken to the 73rd precinct, plaintiff was aggressively slammed against the gate during processing, injuring his wrist. Description: On September 30 2020 both Plaintiffs were lawfully in the area when
Detective Thomas Clementi, Detective Timi Tomacruz, Sergeant Piero Lasaponara and Officers John Does approached them unlawfully. Both Plaintiffs exited their vehicle to speak to a friend when they were unlawfully stopped, questioned, frisked, searched, handcuffed, and falsely arrested without probable cause. The officers transported both Plaintiffs to the 63rd precinct and initiated a malicious prosecution by providing incomplete evidence to purportedly justify the arrests. Both were transported to Central Booking on October 1 2020 and thereafter arraigned on October 1 2020. All charges were dismissed on October 19 2021.
