Description: On or about July 1, 2020, Plaintiff, a police officer, was falsely arrested after his ex-partner falsely claimed to Officer Barry Driscoll that Plaintiff was violent towards her. Officer Driscoll observed injuries to Plaintiff's ex-partner's neck and face. Her injuries were due to the tussle that ensued after she moved towards Plaintiff in a threatening manner and so he tried to physically restrain her. Officer Driscoll, due to his confirmation against male officers of color, dismissed Plaintiff's legal defenses and falsely arrested Plaintiff.
