Description: On or about February 3, 2024, in Brooklyn, the plaintiff YOHAIROD RIVERAS-TORRES was wrongfully arrested and, without probable reason or cause, inculpated in criminal actions in which he did not participate by Defendants NYPD Officers SHAWN O'CONNOR and a "JOHN DOE" officer. By reason of the wrongful arrest and subsequent malicious prosecution, plaintiff was deprived of his liberty and was subjected to scorn and ridicule. Plaintiff suffered pain and distress of mind and body and sustained significant emotional pain and suffering.

Description: On October 17, 2019, plaintiff Ezra B. Glaser was allegedly attacked by defendant Alfred Vinueza at a property located at 52 Kermit Place in Brooklyn, New York. The attack was part of a series of escalating incidents involving Vinueza, who had moved into the property in February 2017. Over time, Vinueza allegedly exhibited aggressive and threatening behavior toward Glaser, including leaving an axe outside Glaser’s door and making anti-Semitic and violent remarks. On the day of the attack, Vinueza allegedly provoked Glaser by making taunting statements before physically assaulting him, punching him repeatedly in the face and head while attempting to humiliate him.
