Complaint
Description: On August 13, 2010, Defendants, Sergeant James Christos, Retired Detective Robert Rogers and Lieutenant Hector Perez of the Intelligence Bureau, broke into the apartment of Plaintiff Devin Burley without a warrant or probably cause carrying machine guns and shields. One of the officers hit Plaintiff over the head with a shield and there Plaintiff on the ground and handcuffed him with tight handcuffs, causing swelling of the wrists. Plaintiff was arrested, taken to the Hunts Point Correctional Facility and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
