Description: On April 8, 2022 Plaintiff was in the vicinity of Lyvere Street and East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx when Defendant officers approached Plaintiff for no reason and stopped, searched, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner. Plaintiff was falsely arrested, remained incarcerated for over 24 hours, and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were dismissed.

Description: On February 12, 2020, the plaintiff was sitting on the windowsill inside of a bedroom. At that time, PO Christopher Ciotti and another police officer entered the bedroom and charged towards the plaintiff. While the police officer tried to tackle the plaintiff, he instead pushed him out the window where the plaintiff landed on cement stairs and fractured his fibula. Without calling for an ambulance, the police officers arrested and took the plaintiff to a police precinct. At the precinct, the plaintiff was told that an ambulance would be called if he gave information about crimes happening in the neighbourhood.
