Complaint
Description: On or about April 21, 2016, plaintiff was driving down the street, when defendant POs Figueroa, Fernandez, Terrero and Doe, without any probable cause, stopped and searched plaintiff and the vehicle and ultimately arrested plaintiff. No contraband was found on plaintiff or in the vehicle. While plaintiff was handcuffed, defendant PO repeatedly punched him in the face and back. At the precinct, defendant PO falsely accused plaintiff of grand larceny and resisting arrest. All charges against plaintiff were later dismissed. As a consequence of defendant POs wrongdoing, plaintiff spent approximately six months in custody.
