Complaint
Description: On April 15, 2023, plaintiffs were unlawfully seized by the defendants, confined, subjected to excessive force, falsely arrested and falsely imprisoned without probable cause or legal justification. Plaintiffs gathered personal belongings of plaintiff White from defendant Pellegrino, when he approached plaintiffs and started threatening them to use his taser against plaintiff White. Plaintiff William began recording the interaction. Defendant Pellegrino then ordered defendant Cazares to unlawfully arrest both plaintiffs. Plaintiffs were then arrested and handcuffed by the defendants. Plaintiffs were then searched, fingerprinted, photographed and detained in a holding cell. The defendants provided the DA's...
