Complaint
Description: On August 20, 20222, plaintiff Kelert Mathurin was home asleep when police officers Jerlonie Julien, Rory Heron and other unidentified police officers descended upon the home and inquired whether he was alright, to which plaintiff was responded positively. Plaintiff was then arrested and searched. Eventually he was transported to the precinct where he spent seven hours before being sent to the central booking. Police officers falsely stated that plaintiff was engaged in driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Eventually, all criminal charges against the plaintiff were dismissed.
