Description: Plaintiff was walking home when an unmarked van stopped adjacent to him, and some of the defendants, who were in plain clothes and did not identify themselves as police officers, exited the van and yelled at Plaintiff. Afraid and unaware that the defendants were police officers, Mr. Lewis backed away and attempted to run home. Defendant Officers grabbed Plaintiff, assaulted him, took him to the 120th Precinct, and strip-searched him. Plaintiff was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct which were ACD'd.
