Description: On April 13, 2021, in a subway station, Plaintiff was targeted by NYPD Officers Danil Demchenko, Kenny Betancourt, and others because of Plaintiff's race and/or ethnicity. Despite there being no reasonable suspicion, probably cause, Officers Demchenko and Betancourt violently contorted Plaintiff's arms and placed him in handcuffs that were applied too tightly. Defendant Officers illegally searched through Plaintiff's pockets. Plaintiff was then removed to the transit district where he was strip searched and questioned as to his pedigree.
