Description: On or about January 21, 2012, Defendant Singh struck Plaintiff's parked automobile with his automobile, which resulted in a fight wherein Singh, intoxicated, struck Plaintiff. Defendant Police Officers Bryan Marksteiner and Keith Slogick responded to the scene, but did not investigate or arrest Singh. Later, Singh filed a complaint against Plaintiff, so, on February 1, 2012, Plaintiff presented himself to the 106 Police Precinct and was arrested, placed in handcuffs, fingerprinted, and put in a holding cell. Defendant Detective John Martin interrogated Plaintiff, then falsely and maliciously accused him of assaulting Singh. Plaintiff was released after 4 hours in handcuffs.
