Description: On April 4th, 2012, Plaintiff was walking down 12th avenue when he was stopped by police officer defendants Sheldon Brutus, sergeant Daniel Ortiz, detective Derek Wooden and others. Plaintiff was issued a ticket for being in the park past curfew hours despite never entering the park. Defendants began mocking Plaintiff and told him they were going to search him, to which Plaintiff replied that he could not afford a ticket and had nothing on him. Defendants grabbed, handcuffed and searched Plaintiff, and discovered no contraband or evidence of wrongdoing.
