Description: On or about May 24, 2021, the plaintiff received a phone call from a blocked number, the caller asked the plaintiff to verify the ownership of her car and let her know that the vehicle had been in an accident and that the plaintiff should come over to the scene of the accident. Once the plaintiff arrived at the scene and confirmed that she did not know who the driver of the vehicle was and that he stole her vehicle from a parking lot next to her house, the defendant POs including PO Nicholas Lamere searched the plaintiff and placed her in handcuffs and arrested her without any justification.
