Description: On or about July 15, 2014, at approximately 2:30 PM, Plaintiff was subjected to excessive force during an arrest by Officer Matthew Staffiero and other unknown officers. Plaintiff sustained injury to his head necessitating sutures when he was thrown into the back of the police vehicle, striking his head. Thereafter, Plaintiff was handcuffed and restrained in a hospital bed for 3 days; held at the precinct for an additional 2 days awaiting arraignment, during which time he was denied further medical treatment; and brought to central booking where he became ill while waiting to be arraigned and was transported to Brooklyn Hospital.
