Description: On December 13, 2013, at approximately 8:30am, Plaintiff Kimberly Gordon, who is African-American, received threatening and racially charged text messages from her landlord, Sofia Ahmed, who demanded that Plaintiff move her car, even though Plaintiff's car was legally parked on the street and was not obstructing access to the landlord's driveway or garage. The messages included statements such as that Ahmed was "sick of [Plaintiff's] ghettoness and that [Plaintiff] belonged in a shelter, not in [Ahmed's] home."
