Description: On August 13, 2013, at approximately 9:30 PM, plaintiff was inside the Utica station on the A/C subway line in Brooklyn, where he was waiting to meet a friend who had not yet arrived on the subway platform. Plaintiff began to feel ill, so he sat down on the platform floor and leant against a beam, when two defendant police officers approached him and asked what he was doing. Plaintiff explained that he did not feel well and was waiting for a friend. The two defendant officers asked plaintiff for an ID, but he did not have any. The defendant police officers detained plaintiff and questioned him about his identity; without any explanation, defendant police officers arrested plaintiff and took him to a transit...
