Description: On May 30, 2014, plaintiff was on the corner of Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn , NY when defendants approached plaintiff and asked to see her identification . Complying with the request, plaintiff reached for her ID which was inside her purse , when the officers attempted to grab her phone out of her hands. Without reasonable suspicion or probable cause that plaintiff committed a crime , officers unlawfully arrested plaintiff. During the arrest , the plaintiff was grabbed, pepper sprayed and dragged to the ground. While plaintiff was incarcerated at the 71 precinct , the defendants conspired a false report . After being incarcerated overnight , plaintiff was arraigned and case was adjourned .
