Description: On October 17, 2021, the plaintiff was stopped by Macy's personnel and accused of shoplifting at the Macy's store located at the Queens Center Mall, 90-15 Queens Blvd in Queens, NY. Defendant officers Christopher Estrella and Matthew Oliva responded to the call and arrested the plaintiff. While escorting the plaintiff in handcuffs from the store, defendant Estrella groped and fondled the plaintiff, including her buttocks, without her consent, in view of and with the knowledge of defendant Oliva. The plaintiff was taken to the 110th Precinct, where she continued to be subjected to sexual assault and physical force by defendant Estrella, without warning, provocation, justification, or privilege.
