Description: On July 11, 2019, Plaintiff and two friends were sitting in a vehicle lawfully parked in front of one of the friends's house when PO Amir Hussain and John Does approached them. PO claimed that the vehicle was not equipped with proper mirrors and proceeded to an unlawful search of the Plaintiff. Without any reason to do so, PO questioned Plaintiff, violently grabbed him and handcuffed him in an excessively tight fashion. Plaintiff was then transported to a police precinct and a Central Booking. Despite clear lack of evidence, PO falsely accused Plaintiff of several claims including Equipment Violation, Plate Violation and Double Parking. Description: On July 23, 2019, plaintiff Ihana Sampson was involved in a motor vehicle accident at East 80th Street and Avenue J in Brooklyn, New York. The accident occurred when Police Officer Amir Hussain, in pursuit of another vehicle, allegedly conducted the pursuit in a careless and reckless manner, resulting in the plaintiff being struck by a third vehicle. Following the accident, Sampson was admitted to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center (BUHMC), where she received medical treatment and remained confined from July 23, 2019, to August 15, 2019.
