Description: Defendant Officers came to Plaintiff's apartment in response to a 911 call alleging that he had broken an individual's cell phone. Officers ordered Plaintiff to take a walk to calm him down from a heated argument and so he went to tell his daughter that he was leaving. Officers then grabbed him, pepper sprayed him, handcuffed and arrested him. Plaintiff, who has cancer and heart conditions, was handcuffed, denied medical attention, and taken to the 25th precinct. Description: On June 6, 2012, defendants began banging on the door of the plaintiff's apartment. Plaintiff's brother opened the door and defendants forced their way into the apartment. Defendants grabbed Plaintiff and dragged plaintiff into the kitchen of her apartment. Plaintiff's bedroom was then searched without permission or authority. Defendant Bliss then demanded

Description: On February 8, 2013, when the Plaintiff was purchasing a MetroCard from a subway kiosk, police officer Michael McCarthy aggressively approached the plaintiff. The plaintiff tried to leave the station to avoid trouble, but Officer Michael McCarthy pursued and apprehended the plaintiff and called backup, including but not limited to officers Paul Bliss, Stephen Allocca, Alexander Gavilan, Kevin Short, Endora Shropshire, and John Toscano. A group of police officers brutally beat and tased the plaintiff once he was already restrained and compliant. As a result, the plaintiff suffered a broken nose, taser burns, and multiple lacerations requiring stitches.
