Description: On December 9 2022, the Plaintiffs were lawfully at an intersection as passengers in their friend's parked vehicle. They were then approached by NYPD PO Tommy Horton and John Does. The Officers ordered everyone out of the vehicle even though the Plaintiffs had broken no law and had no contraband in their possession. The Plaintiffs were arrested, handcuffed, and searched before being transported to the 52 Precinct. At the Precinct they were searched, fingerprinted and photoed and placed in a holding cell. While in custody, the PO provided false information to the District Attorney and initiated a malicious prosecution. The Plaintiffs were unlawfully held for 3 days in custody.
