Description: On February 25, 2013, plaintiff, a high-school student, was on his lunch break and saw a friend, Roberto Delgado being arrested by members of the NYPD. Plaintiff said he would retrieve Delgado's mother after Delgado asked him to. One of the defendant Police Officers approached plaintiff and shoved him. Plaintiff was arrested despite there being no probable cause to believe that plaintiff committed any crimes or offenses. At the precinct, the officers falsely informed employees of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office that they had observed plaintiff committing crimes and/or offenses. After spending approximately twenty-four hours in custody at Brooklyn Central Booking, plaintiff was arraigned and released...
