Description: On April 24, 2013, Plaintiff had just finished shopping and was on the streets when he was stopped without any probable cause by four Defendant NYPD Police Officers. The Defendant police officers demanded that Plaintiff produce identification and receipts for the items in his shopping bags, and proceeded to falsely accuse Plaintiff of having obtained the merchandise through unlawful means. Subsequently, the Defendant police officers released Plaintiff from their custody after being unable to uncover any ground to formally arrest him.
