Description: On March 28, 2011 POs Luis G. Velazco, John Does, and Jane Doe falsely arrested Plaintiff while Plaintiff was registering at the Manhattan Registry. A mentally-disabled individual had falsely accused Plaintiff of a sexual criminal act, and this same individual had also falsely accused 8 to 10 others of the same. Plaintiff was taken to the 77th Precinct then Central Booking. Plaintiff was arraigned on March 29, 2011 and remained in custody for approximately over one year. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Jane Doe, though Doe was aware the alleged victim had a history of false claims and also that this individual later recanted her claims in her diary.
