Description: On January 29, 2014, at approximately 5:45 A.M, more than 10 Officers of the 77th Precinct smashed open the front door of Plaintiff’s apartment and entered with guns drawn, shields and raised batons. Plaintiff is a 72 year old retired woman. Officers slammed Plaintiff against a wall, twisted her arms to apply handcuffs and then threw her to the floor. The Officers ransacked her apartment, causing damage to personal items and taking other items. Plaintiff was searched and held on the floor for over 2 hours. At that time, the officers released the Plaintiff and left. The complaint does not allege that Plaintiff was ever arrested or charged with a crime.
