Description: On April 7, 2023, in Brooklyn, the Plaintiff MALIK WHITE was stopped by Defendants NYPD officers Rashawn Williams, Neil Narayan, Anthony Varrone, and/or Officers John and Jane Doe 1-7, while parking his car. Despite complying with Defendants' requests, after Plaintiff was illegally searched and after he reached to take back items Defendants had taken from his person, the Plaintiff was thereafter physically assaulted, resulting in significant injuries. Description: On December 12, 2012, Plaintiff was driving a car rented by his girlfriend when he was unlawfully stopped on a roadway in Kings County, NY by NYPD Officers Edward Thompson and Aleksandr Pasnykov. The officers unlawfully arrested Plaintiff for driving a stolen vehicle without attempting to contact the rental company or Plaintiff's girlfriend to determine if the car was stolen. After approximately 18 hours in custody of the NYPD, Plaintiff was released.
