Description: On May 1, 2015, defendant NYPD officer Brett Healy (Shield No. 22583), along with unnamed defendant NYPD officers, unlawfully stopped and arrested plaintiff on a Brooklyn street, including putting him in excessively tight handcuffs. Defendants then held plaintiff at a local precinct before releasing him with jaywalking ticket. Defendants falsely and maliciously provided evidence of such "jaywalking" to the DA's office, the case was dismissed at arraignment. Plaintiff suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of this incident.

Description: On May 11, 2013, Plaintiffs Anthony Beauford, his father Arthur Lawyer, and Lawyer's girlfriend Shauna Simmons were lawfully within their residence when approximately six NYPD officers knocked on the door and pushed their way inside despite lacking a warrant and consent. Officers included Officers Benigno Gonzalez, Brett Healy, James Wilson, and Thomas Jurewicz. They were looking for a badge that an officer had lost earlier that afternoon in the arrest of an unrelated party.
