Description: On September 30, 2013, Plaintiffs were detained and searched by POs Benita Bunch and Shuyan Lam without any legal basis, justification, or excuse. In fact, before arresting Plaintiffs, the officers spoke to several witnesses at the scene who informed them that Plaintiffs were not the perpetrators. The searches yielded no evidence of any guns, drugs, or contraband. Despite the absence of any evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Plaintiffs, POs Bunch and Lam formally arrested Plaintiffs.
