Description: On August 28, 2019, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 3562 Carlisle Place, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, suddenly accosted plaintiff and placed him under arrest in an excessive manner. Defendants grabbed plaintiff from behind and slammed him to the ground, jumping on and handcuffing him. In the process, one officer forcibly stomped on plaintiff's left ankle, causing severe injuries. As a result of the unprovoked assault, plaintiff sustained injuries including but limited to a left ankle fracture, and suffered emotional distress.
