Complaint
Description: On July 12, 2014 Plaintiff was outside a coffee shop observing a drawing done by the artist Banksy that had been placed in front of the building. POs Christian Menoni, Duvan Castro, and/or John Does 1-4 approached Plaintiff and a PO claimed he saw Plaintiff drawing the picture. Plaintiff was falsely arrested and wrongfully charged with making graffiti. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 24 hours before he was released. Plaintiff was compelled to make two court appearances until his case was dismissed on October 28, 2014. Plaintiff lost 7 days of income as a result of the incident and has been taking Ambien and Trazadone to help him sleep ever since the incident.
