Description: Plaintiffs were acting as journalists for Democracy Now! and documenting an anti-Trump protest outside the Grand Hyatt in Midtown. Both plaintiffs were recording audio and video and were holding video cameras. Both plaintiffs also had press passes and it was evident that they were there for press purposes. Police officers then arrested protesters when it appeared that the protest had become violent. NYPD officers then directed the plaintiffs to stay back and move back.
