Description: On December 5, 2022, Defendant Officers including Defendant Detective Adam Acosta handcuffed Plaintiff and intentionally and falsely accused Plaintiff of having committed the crime of Robbery and related charges. On or about December 6, 2022, a criminal complaint was issued at the directive of Defendant Officers and a criminal action against Plaintiff commenced. Plaintiff remained in custody under December 7, 2022. Plaintiff had to defend against false charges until the criminal matter was terminated on February 16, 2023.

Plaintiff advised them that she did not know what they were talking about. Two male officers dragged Plaintiff outside the grocery store and started to fondle her in the guise of “searching” her.
