Description: On October 25, 2016 at approximately 1:30pm, Mr. Nelson and Mr. Luna were visiting a friend incarcerated at the NYS DOCCS Queensboro Correctional Facility. After clearing security procedures, they were admitted to a visiting room to see their friend. Each shook hands with their friend, but no other contact was made. After about 30 minutes, Correctional Officers (Michael Moes) ended the visit, but continued to hold Mr. Nelson and Mr. Luna for approximately two hours. Description: On or about March 2, 2012, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of West 4th Street and Cornelia Street, in New York County. Without any probable cause to do so, defendant NYPD officers came up to the plaintiff and detained him. He was subjected to an unlawful search and seizure and had excessively tight handcuffs placed on his wrists. The plaintiff was then transported to the 6th Precinct and the defendants gave false information to prosecutors.
