Description: On September 3, 2014 Plaintiff, a sixteen-year-old, was standing on a public sidewalk after visiting his grandmother when POs Sean O'Keefe, Brian Jay, and John Doe approached on foot and in cars and attacked Plaintiff without legal justification or reason. POs hyper-extended Plaintiff's arm behind his back and pinned him against a police cruiser. When Plaintiff asked why he was being attacked an officer told him to "shut up" and threatened to break his arm. A second officer twisted Plaintiff's other arm behind his back and demanded Plaintiff's identification. Description: On August 21, 2011, Plaintiff, a 57-year-old woman, was leaving a party in the early morning hours when she realized she was feeling unwell and asked her son to walk with her. As Plaintiff and her son were walking, a NYPD police car aggressively approached them. Plaintiff asked the officers to leave her son alone, but the Defendant NYPD officers began bullying the pair. The Defendants called Plaintiff by several names and beat her with their fists and batons in the face, chest, right leg, right arm, right elbow, head, neck, and back, before and after handcuffing her. After Plaintiff was arrested, the Defendants continued to beat Plaintiff, even as she lay motionless on the ground.
