Description: On August 21, 2011, Plaintiff, a 57-year-old woman, was leaving a party in the early morning hours when she realized she was feeling unwell and asked her son to walk with her. As Plaintiff and her son were walking, a NYPD police car aggressively approached them. Plaintiff asked the officers to leave her son alone, but the Defendant NYPD officers began bullying the pair. The Defendants called Plaintiff by several names and beat her with their fists and batons in the face, chest, right leg, right arm, right elbow, head, neck, and back, before and after handcuffing her. After Plaintiff was arrested, the Defendants continued to beat Plaintiff, even as she lay motionless on the ground.
