Description: On October 12, 2014, NYPD Officer Lore Verri, and other unknown officers, pulled over Plaintiff while Plaintiff was driving a new car, falsely claiming that Plaintiff failed to abide by a traffic signal. The officers interrogated Plaintiff about his purchase and then violently pulled him out of his car, applied excessively tight handcuffs, maced Plaintiff in the back of a police vehicle with the door closed, and taunted Plaintiff. Officer Verri and the other officers provided the District Attorney's Office with false information to justify the unlawful arrest. The case was subsequently dismissed.
