Description: On December 23, 2015, the plaintiff, Latroya Lovell, and her 1-year old son were robbed by two masked men at gunpoint when they were about to enter the door of her then-boyfriend's apartment in New York, and ransacked the apartment. The robbers stole the plaintiff's phone and wallet. After the robbers left, the plaintiff borrowed a neighbor's phone to call 911, after which the defendants arrived and met the plaintiff in the hallway outside the apartment. The plaintiff informed the defendants that she had been robbed. When the defendants asked for consent to enter and search the apartment, the plaintiff informed that she didn't consent because she could not consent since she did not live or own the apartment. Description: On April 29, 2014 Plaintiff was lawfully inside his apartment with his girlfriend when PO Markeith Catlin knocked on the door. Plaintiff's girlfriend answered and PO Catlin asked her if she had been assaulted by Plaintiff. Plaintiff's girlfriend responded no. Plaintiff's girlfriend also did not have any physical injuries. Regardless, PO Markeith Catlin and potentially other officers grabbed Plaintiff aggressively and forcibly handcuffed him, injuring Plaintiff's neck and lower back. Plaintiff had been a former shooting victim and he informed PO Catlin he used a cane and was not able to move well. PO Catlin ignored Plaintiff, refused to allow him to use his cane, and continued aggressively handcuffing Plaintiff....
