Complaint
Description: On or about March 17, 2018 Plaintiff was a lawful patron at an auto repair shop when he was beaten by civilian employee Juan Vargas, an individual known by the City of New York to have vicious behavior and erratic propensities. PO Daniel Neugebauer responded, falsely detained and arrested Plaintiff, and did not timely summon an ambulance for Plaintiff's injuries. Plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted with the intent to inflict emotional distress and the action was ultimately dismissed on July 6, 2018.
