Description: On November 28, 2009, Plaintiff was walking near several friends when NYPD officers approached. One of those friends was in possession of narcotics. Plaintiff was arrested and placed in tight handcuffs. While Plaintiff was being taken to the precinct she complained about the tightness, at which point the officer driving stopped the car, removed the handcuffs, and recuffed Plaintiff even tighter. Plaintiff was charged with drug possession despite none having been found during the illegal search. All charges were dismissed on March 17, 2010.
