Description: On February 18, 2015, the plaintiff was lawfully visiting a friend at the friend's lower Manhattan apartment when NYPD detectives, officers, a lieutenant, a sergeant, and a captain forcefully entered with guns drawn. The NYPD officials ordered the occupants to freeze and drop to the floor—an instruction that the plaintiff obeyed. While the plaintiff lie face down on the floor, the NYPD officers kicked him repeatedly, causing him pain.
