Description: On June 30, the three plaintiffs were inside 775 Eagle Avenue, Bronx, NY. At all times in the apartment the plaintiffs were not aware of, and did not observe any contraband that the defendant NYPD officers alleged to be present. The defendants illegally searched and seized the plaintiffs without probable cause to do so. The defendants also committed multiple assault and batteries including handcuffing them too tightly, violently grabbing, pushing, shoving, and slamming them to the ground. The defendants would not have used excessive force against the plaintiffs but for their race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or age.

Description: On or about March 26, 2016, plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 2461 Webster Avenue, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, approached plaintiff and wrongfully touched, grabbed, handcuffed, and seized him with excessive force. Plaintiff was then arrested and held in custody for 2 days. During arraignment, plaintiff was falsely prosecuted with criminal charges, and all charges were subsequently dismissed in plaintiff's favor. As a result of defendants' actions and their malicious prosecution, plaintiff sustained severe physical injuries and emotional distress.
