Description: On December 7, 2019, Plaintiff Williams was lawfully present at or about the intersection of West 154th Street and 8th Avenue in the County of New York when he was approached, handcuffed, and unlawfully arrested by NYPD Officers Antoney A. Darling, Quincy T. Smith, and other unnamed officers. Plaintiff was taken to the 32nd Precinct where he was held for approximately two hours until 2:00 am on December 8, 2019. Plaintiff was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries, then taken back to the precinct where he was held until approximately 11:00 am. He was taken to Central Booking, arraigned, and released without being charged with a crime at approximately 10:00 pm on said date.
