Description: Plaintiff observed a vehicle being stopped by police and noticed that the vehicle belonged to his brother. Plaintiff approached the vehicle and saw that his brother was in the driver's seat. Plaintiff tried to approach the officer seated in the police van when he was told to step back. Plaintiff was then approached by officers on the sidewalk, who demanded to see his ID. Plaintiff then asked what he did wrong and was threatened to be arrested. The plaintiff then tried to call his wife, who is also an officer with the NYPD, but Officer Mendoza snatched the phone away from him. Officers then grabbed the plaintiff and interlocked his arms, while another officer punched him in the face. Plaintiff was then arrested ...
