Description: On or about July 25, 2013, Plaintiff was tackled from behind without provocation by NYPD officers, including Police Officer Thomas O’Connor, Detective Rudy Lahens, Lieutenant Harris, and other unidentified officers. After being tackled to the ground, Flores sustained serious injuries, including to his right shoulder. The officers proceeded to frisk and search him without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, removing all contents from his pockets. Despite finding no contraband, drugs, or weapons, the officers handcuffed him tightly and arrested him without justification.

Description: On or about April 19, 2013, in Manhattan, Plaintiffs Robert and Anthony Torres were intentionally stopped, searched, detained, photographed, fingerprinted and confined without probable cause or reasonable suspicion that they had committed any crime and with actual malice by Defendants NYPD employees JOHN DOE 1-10. By reason of the Defendants' actions in the foregoing false arrest and false imprisonment, the Plaintiffs were caused to suffer serious, painful and permanent personal, physical and mental injuries. As result of Defendant's prosecution, the Plaintiffs had to appear numerous times for court appearances. The charges against the Plaintiffs were dismissed in their entirety on November 27, 2013.
