Description: Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff on the street without provocation and assaulted him before and after handcuffing him, and took him to the 77th precinct, where Defendant Officer Swofford alleged that Plaintiff swung at him. All charges against plaintiff were later dismissed and sealed. A few months later, Defendant Officers Fenton and Burnett ran after Plaintiff, attacked him, handcuffed him, and put him in a chokehold. Description: Plaintiff and friends were talking to a neighbor while defendant officers approached and accosted plaintiff and his friends of smoking. Defendant officers then demanded plaintiffs' identifications and plaintiff did so. Plaintiff then read out defendant officer's shield number out which let to defendant officers arrest. Plaintiff was then brought to 77th precinct and charged with tampering with physical evidence. All charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal and were eventually dismissed.
