Description: On February 26, 2018, Plaintiff, Jermaine Larmon, was at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, when Detective Michael Simmonds and Officer Abdelhai Sahel, and other officers, approached him. Without any probable cause or reasonable suspicion, the officers forcibly detained and accused Plaintiff of involvement in a recent shooting. Plaintiff denied involvement, asserting he had been on hospital premises at the time of the alleged incident.
