Description: On September 8, 2018, at approximately 5:00 am, police officers illegally forcefully entered the home of Plaintiff who had previously been arrested on July 16, 2017 and then released on bail. The officers refused to provide a search warrant upon the Plaintiffs request, claiming they did not need one. Upon further asking for a warrant, the officers grew agitated and assaulted plaintiff while handcuffed. Plaintiff was taken to Coney Island Hospital due to their injuries while the rest of the family was taken to the 60th precinct while the other officers searched the apartment. The officers took $7,000 in cash from the Plaintiff's apartment. Plaintiff eventually excepted a misdemeanor plea and was told by her lawy...
